metro news/by Jurgen van der Hoeven./ A former prisoner on death row, was released over a year ago after 30 years of having unjustly imprisoned. Long the man does not enjoy his new freedom. He died at age 65 of cancer, as US media report.

Glenn Ford, father of four children, was convicted of a murder committed in 1983. In March 2014 he was acquitted of robbing and killing a watchmaker in Shreveport. He turned 30 years innocent have been locked. From new evidence showed that he was not at the scene at the time of the murder.

After Ford learned that he had cancer, the medical costs were about $ 2,000 (the equivalent of approximately 1,790 euros) per week. These were funded through private donations, said McCrary. According McCrary Ford harbored no grudges and he was looking forward to the afterlife.
Previously offered prosecutor Marty Stroud are responsible for the imprisonment of Ford, his apologies. At the time, Ford gave all that he could not forgive him, but that he had little to be angry. "I'm angry, but that is not my driving force," he said earlier. "That's to be better if that is possible. That fails me when I'm mad at Marty Stroud. "
