Albert West remembered during funeral service in Den Bosch

Among the attendees were Mayor Ragsdale van Den Bosch and artists like Lee Towers, Corry Konings and Ben Cramer. Also the British singer Albert Hammond, with whom West in the 80 's the song Give a Little Love sang, was there. He reminisced to Albert West.
In the Sint-Jan in Den Bosch is Albert West remembered. The singer died last week at the age of 65, after he was hit by a cyclist. At the memorial service, which lasted about two hours, were hundreds of people.

The service began with a speech by the son-in-law, sister and brother of Albert West. After the ceremony the coffin was the Saint John and formed a guard of honour for the people when the car with the crate by the street. The five biggest hits of West sounded through the street. Albert West is buried in Rosmalen.
