Arrests at Groningen action against hemp farming

In Groningen and Drenthe is the police since this morning engaged in an action against hemp farming. In total there are on sixteen places raided. So far, five people have been arrested.

 

There are, among others, property, administration and money confiscated. In two locations, the police found hemp farms.

The nurseries were on a trailer park on the Peizerweg in Groningen. Four of the five arrestees living there. The police think the trade from the camp.

Current research according to the cops are the sixteen locations emerged during an investigation of hemp cultivation. Police in North Netherlands has opted for a different approach to the cultivation of hemp. That is more focused on detecting the leaders behind the trade rather than on the rolling up of the nurseries.

The searches are under more money at dogs. Also help special search teams of Defense. The police expected that the action still takes all morning.
