'Cologne' Geert Wilders delivers monster score: 41 seats
The fuss about the mass assault in Cologne, the PVV provides new gains in the polls. If elections were held now, the party of Geert Wilders is on 41 seats.
This is a monstrous score for the PVV. This is evident from the weekly poll by Maurice de Hond. "Dutch people want their country back," Wilders tweeted Sunday enthusiastic in response.
The refugee crisis dominated since August electoral developments. From that moment, the PVV will increase markedly, averaging nearly one seat per week.
The massive assaults during New Year's Eve in Cologne deliver the party this week even more seats, namely two. The number of reports is Saturday risen to 379. In forty percent of the cases involve complaints alleging sexual violence. According to police, the suspects largely asylum seekers and illegal immigrants.
If the subject 'refugees' in the next elections remains high on the agenda, according to De Hond, then many of the current electorate of the PVV will indeed vote for this party.
This record score for the PVV equaling the highest score ever for the VVD, during the elections of 2012. The survey shows that nearly a quarter of the electorate thinks the refugee crisis a "decisive" role to play in their party choice in the next election.
GroenLinks
The PVV is now the fourth party in the Netherlands went to polls or elections on the 40 seats after the PvdA, CDA and VVD. The VVD and CDA are declining each with a seat at resp. 18 and 19 seats. The Labour Party goes from 38 to nine seats. The SP and D66 remain from last week right, respectively 15 and 16 seats.
Striking is again the enormous profits of the Greens. The choice of Jesse Klaver, the Party to rise from 4 now in parliament to 15 seats. Last week the party was also on this number.
