Since January 1 thousand people went to court to have a dispute with their municipality about, for example compensation for domestic help. In previous years there were on average 550 per semester. There is therefore an increase of about 80 percent.
The number of lawsuits on the Social Support Act (WMO) in the first half of this year has increased. This has informed the Council for the Judiciary Wednesday afternoon.

The WMO regulates the help that people need to live independently and to participate in social life. The government has taken a large extent transferred to the municipalities. There are conflicts about include adaptations to homes, buying a scooter or reimbursement of taxi services for disabled people.
On the reimbursement of assistance to people who no longer good example in their own home can clean up is much to do. Towns must produce good according to the rules of the residents on the individual situation (so-called "kitchen table talks"), but the Council for the Judiciary happens not always.
