Criminals names IP addresses ministry about

The acquisition of these Internet addresses can criminals send spam or further penetrate within an organization Foreign Ministry confirmed Saturday reports the Volkskrant.
Bulgarian criminals had last year a week-long IP addresses of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held.

The ministry says that the addresses were not used actively. Therefore it was not possible to access through these IP addresses to information from the Ministry. There is no evidence that criminals used the addresses actually used for spreading spam.
The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) warned Foreign Affairs, on which action was taken. The addresses are now blocked. The government addresses were between 19 November and 26 November 2014 at the hands of a Bulgarian gang.
