Ex-partner puts a mother of four children dead
In the Antwerp district Merksem a man this afternoon his former wife stabbed numerous times.
The woman is thereby deceased. The man himself was discharged with a stab wound in the abdomen, but is not in danger.
A little after noon received the emergency phone over a violent incident from the house in the Eethuisstraat. "Police found the spot a man and woman," says prosecutor spokesman Ken Witpas. "The woman had multiple stab wounds, which she this afternoon is deceased. The man had one stab wound in the abdomen, but was not seriously injured and taken to hospital. On the right conditions or the reason I have nothing definite to say, but the first findings point to a family drama between former partners. Police investigating judge and prosecutor are on the spot. "
In the house were five children attended. They were collected and given to victims.
