The singer of the American band The Doors received $ 2.50 clothes money for a gig in 1967, according to a contract that offered for auction.
The clothing budget of Jim Morrison (1943-1971) stands in stark contrast to the enormous sums which artists nowadays to their wardrobe.

AUCTION
Jim Morrison was then $ 210 for his performance plus a few dollars to spend on clothes. The contract is for sale. The auction begins Thursday. The auction house RR Auction expected according to New York Post that the contract between the 15,000 and $ 25,000 can muster, converted almost 22,500 euros.
Other objects from the music going under the hammer are a leather jacket of Beatles drummer Ringo Starr, a guitar specially designed for Johnny Ramone and a press photo of Janis Joplin.
