King to eleventh Veterans Day in the Hague
King Willem-Alexander is today in the Hague with the eleventh celebration of Veterans Day, where the social recognition of veterans and appreciation for their work. Netherlands has more than 115,000 veterans who, now and in the past, have been deployed in the service of peace.

The day started with a ceremony in the Hall of Knights, where among others singer Ellen ten Damme and opera singer and veteran Bastiaan Edwards performed for the King, Prime Minister Rutte, Defence Minister Hennis-Plasschaert and 500 invited guests. Prime Minister Rutte gave a speech.
