Rapid captain Hofmann believes in 'thrill' against Ajax

Steffen Hofmann believes Rapid Wien has the potential to turn Ajax in the third qualifying round of the Champions League. That said, the captain of the Austrians Monday at the press conference ahead of the crucial encounter on Tuesday.
Last week ended the first match in Vienna after a 2-0 lead for Ajax 2-2.
"Ajax is technically and tactically good. We know our opponent and know what they can do. It will be difficult, but we are with a lot of confidence coming to Amsterdam," says Hofmann.
The 34-year-old German knows what his team needs Tuesday. "We will try to create a sensation. With passion, courage and a bit of luck we might get to the next round."
Even coach Zoran Barisic is optimistic about the meeting at the Arena. "We will obviously against Ajax should do our best, but we have no fear."
Group Sense
In order to strengthen the group's Barisic with his whole squad traveled to Amsterdam. "We are not just the eleven players who were in the field. The substitutes and other select members belong just as good at."
"Together we form one team. Everyone goes with it. It is important that tomorrow they can all be there."
The duel between Ajax and Rapid Wien starts Tuesday at 20.15. The winner should get ready for the playoffs for a place in the main draw of the Champions League.
