Survivors want to commission unsolved cases

Relatives of murder victims want an independent commission that files of unsolved cases scrutinizes. In an open letter to invite Minister Van der Steur of Security and Justice, they accordingly, lawyer Job Knoester says NPO Radio 1. He wrote the letter on behalf of families of ten victims.
 
If relatives do not agree with the prosecutor's conclusions, or find that work is not done properly, they have nowhere to go. "So they want another look at it going," said Knoester.

DNA research

The parents of the Schiedam Leon Groeneweg belong. The 19-year-old boy disappeared in 2008 and was later found dead in Lake Brielle in Brielle. According to his parents he was killed, but Justice says it can find no evidence of a crime.
 
Forensic experts
 
The letter writers want people from the judiciary, the prosecution, the police, lawyers and forensic experts take a seat in the independent commission.
 
A spokesman for the Minister says that he is going to study the letter as soon as possible, come up with an answer.
