Train ride expensive except for non-peak traveler
NS is doing everything possible to entice travelers from the full rush hour trains. Prices for season tickets in the off-peak hours are therefore more expensive next year.
Single tickets, day tickets and day return on train routes will be adjusted to inflation and rising on average by slightly more than 2 percent.
NS has decided this in consultation with the consumer, the carrier reported on the website.
